SYSTEM FOR CALCULATING REQUIRED QUANTITY OF MATERIAL

PURPOSE: To provide a required material quantity calculating system capable of developing the required quantity of materials at optimum read time by inputting the required number of products and the delivery data of the products and considering the load of a production process. CONSTITUTION: This system is provided with an assignment processing part 104 for assigning production articles to prescribed backets and prescribed production machines within the range of production process capacity set up for each backet based upon input data including the delivery data of the production articles and the required number of articles, a total required quantity calculating processing part 106 for calculating the quantity required for producing the assigned production articles by a required quantity while considering the unit quantity of articles which is used as parts of the assigned production articles and a net required number calculating processing part 107 for calculating the actually required number of units by subtracting the number of stored units from the number of units calculated by the processing part 106.
