A cooking device is provided to prevent a user from being burned by removing the necessity of maintaining a cooking chamber at the high temperature in order to burn contaminant sticking to the cooking chamber. A cooking device comprises a body(10) and a cooking chamber(50). The cooking chamber is provided in the body to form a space required for cooking food, and has an inner wall exposed to foods. The inner wall of the cooking chamber is subject to plasma surface treatment under the atmospheric pressure, and has a property of matter determined by surface treatment conditions including atmosphere gas supplied during the plasma surface treatment. A door(20) is coupled with the body to open and close the cooking chamber. A controller controls the body. The cooking chamber includes a tray(80) installed in the cooking chamber and a surface subject to the plasma surface treatment.
