<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device for vehicle which can give favorable lighting for safe driving of a vehicle by automatically controlling an appropriate lighting range corresponding to steering operation of the vehicle. SOLUTION: Lighting direction of a plurality of lamps RL and LL is controlled independently or integrally corresponding to the driving state. In the driving state where there might be another vehicle or an obstacle in the advance direction of the vehicle, the light axis direction of one of the lamps is directed to the traveling direction and deflected in advance, while the light axis direction of the other lamp is held at the advance direction and the light axis direction of the other lamp is delayed in being deflected upon receiving further steering operation. The traveling direction and the advance direction can be both lighted, which is especially effective in securing safe driving of the vehicle at an intersection or changing lanes.</p> |
