<p>A blind spot lens for a vehicle is provided. The blind spot lens includes an influx plane on which a ray of light from an object is received, an efflux plane through which the ray of light received on said influx plane exits to be projected on a side view mirror of the vehicle thus exhibiting an image of the object on the side view mirror, a coupling plane to be contacted with the side view mirror when the blind spot lens is fixed thereon, and an inner angle between the influx and efflux planes to be determined in accordance with the refractive index of the lens. The blind spot lens, simply fixed perpendicular to the side view mirror, makes it possible for the driver to observe clearly on the side view mirror the presence of vehicles in a blind spot, and further, since said lens projects only objects in the blind spot, the driver can judge the situation in the blind spot at one glance. This will make driving safe and easy, particularly in fast moving traffic situations where quick decisions are required for making lane-changes or similar maneuvers.</p> |
