The present invention relates to an additive for a norbornene film and an optical film comprising the same and, more specifically, to a compound for a norbonene-based film additive represented by chemical formula 6. The present invention has effects in preventing the decline in the properties of a polarizing plate, by elevating the modulus of the norbornene film. Particularly, a problem of a process of laminating the polarizing plate due to the decline in the mechanical properties of an ANB film can be solved. In chemical formula 6, R is hydrogen or a benzoyl group.
