PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flap valve mechanism inhibiting deformation of a fuel tank when the pressure in the fuel tank becomes negative during vehicle travel.SOLUTION: A flap valve mechanism (50) is for opening and closing a fill port (30a) in a fill port forming member (30) that forms a fuel passage (11P) for introducing fuel supplied from a refueling nozzle (FN) into a fuel tank. The flap mechanism comprises: a spring (59) provided rotatably to the fill port forming member (30); and an opening and closing member (51) provided rotatably to the fill port forming member (30) at a turning shaft end and biased in a direction of closing the fill port (30a) by the spring (59), the opening and closing member (51) contacting with the spring (59) on a free end side opposite to the turning shaft end at least at the time of closing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16 |
