PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a speaker in which variation in the temperature and/or humidity can be compensated automatically for a variety of speakers. SOLUTION: A player 1 outputting a reproduced signal of a CD and MD selectively has an output connected with the input of a power amplifier 3 through a preamplifier 7. The power amplifier 3 has a high band signal output connected with a tweeter 4 and a low band signal output connected with a woofer 5. The preamplifier 7 is connected with a data storage section 8 and a control compensating for environmental variation is performed based on a control command delivered from a microcomputer 6. Correction data corresponding to variation of humidity in the environment of a speaker is stored at the data storage section 8 and variation in the acoustic characteristics is compensated continuously based on the detected results of a humidity sensor 11. |
