PURPOSE:To make it possible to give a tension to a thread when spliced and to prevent the generation of kindy thread effectively, by bringing kindy thread preventing members such as a plate, rod, etc. in contact with the tip section of a bobbin when a thread released from the bobbin is guided into a thread splicing apparatus. CONSTITUTION:The thread led out from the bobbin inserted in a peg 12 is led via a thread path X that passes a guide plate 6, a preclearer 22, a thread cutting apparatus 13, a tension apparatus 14, the front surface of a suction slit 15, and a winding drum 16 into a package P to be wound. During this winding- up operation, if the thread cuts, the thread is spliced by the action of the thread splicing apparatus 2, and a lever 11 is coated with the swing motion of a suction pipe 4 for supporting and guiding the end of the thread and is lowered to the operation position 11' shown by dotted line. Accordingly, the kindy thread preventing plate 8 is lowered to the position shown by dotted line under the influence of the weight 9, and its bent section abuts on the bobbin tip 21 to prevent the kindy thread from producing. |
