The compressor-driven refrigerator (10) comprises a box-shaped body (11) with an exterior (18) and an interior (16) with heat insulation (20) located between the sides. A compressor (24) and a condensor (26) are located in spaces (27,36) in front of the exterior. The compressor is arranged at the lower opening (28) in a vertical channel (30), so that with its heat it produces a convective air current (44) through the channel. The air current flows by the condensor and cools it. The channel is located in the heat insulation at the one of the refrigerator rear vertical edges. The space in which the condensor is located has a front opening and a rear opening, which communicates with the space in the vicinity of the compressor. The cold medium leaves the compressor through an outlet tube, which on its way to the condensor extends slightly into the channel. |
