Contact head for electrically ignited smoke discharger

The contact head (8) is fitted to a smoke discharger, and has a roughly cylindrical casing which is open at the bottom. The head has contact pieces on the cylindrical outer wall, in order to make contact with pins which are arranged on an ejector cup. The casing is made from a synthetic material, and accommodates the contact pieces and the electrical connections to the contacts (24,25) for the igniter on the propellant charge. The material can be metalled in the regions of the contact pieces and their connections to the igniter contacts. The contact pieces may also be formed by two contact rings (11,12).
