PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Th2-type excessive immune response model non-human animal with PIR-B gene function deleted on the chromosome capable of analyzing the mechanism of Th2-type immune response or the onset mechanism of allergy in vivo and susceptible to onset of not only B cell excessive immune response but also allergy, or the like, and to provide a Th2-type excessive immune response induction promoter or inhibitor, or the like, by using the animal. SOLUTION: This animal is created by the following procedure: a fragment comprising the exon 1-7 and the domain at the 5' side of the exon 8 of mouse PIR-B gene and a fragment comprising the exon 10-14 are integrated into pMC 1-Neo vector followed by cleavage with Xho I-Sal I to construct a targeting vector integrated in pIC19R-MC1tk vector bearing herpes virus thymidine kinase, and the targeting vector is transduced into an ES cell, and the resulting ES cell is injected into a blastocyst.
|
