The present invention relates to a display device, which can reduce power consumption while maintaining reliability of data transmission. According to a first embodiment of the present invention, a display device comprises a differential signal driver, first and second signal wirings, a current control unit, and a reception unit. The differential signal driver generates a differential signal by using a variable current. The first and second signal wirings maintain a loop current based on the signal output by the differential signal driver. The current control unit controls a current value of the variable current to decrease when any one among low data and high data in image data is equal to or higher than a threshold value. The reception unit receives the differential signal. According to a second embodiment of the present invention, a display device comprises: a display panel in which data lines are arranged; a data drive unit; and a current control unit. The data drive unit generates data voltages corresponding to input image data, and provides the data voltages for the data lines via an output buffer. The current control unit calculates a variation in the image data in an identical channel, and varies a bias current value of the output buffer based on the variation in the image data. |
