PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the generation and alteration of contents in a display system such as intranet and to unnecessitate the alteration of a basic program such as CGI according as the alteration of contents. SOLUTION: This display system provide with a server 1 supplying document information that can be displayed, a database 13 connected to the server 11 and a client 21 which visually displays document information supplied from the server 11 is provided with an information control means for arranging document information 14 which is associated with at least one software part 16 constituted by incorporating attribute information that can be altered and which can be displayed on the server 11, incorporating information which links between the database 13 of a server side and the software part in the software part 16 as attribute information, taking out information from the data base 13 in accordance with link information incorporated in the software part 16 as attribute information and transferring it to the client 21.
