PURPOSE: A rubber composition for an under tread of the truck and bus tire which has excellent chip-cut resistance, wear resistance and low heat generating property is provided. CONSTITUTION: The rubber composition for an under tread of the truck and bus tire is characterized by comprising 100 parts by weight of a natural rubber, 20 to 40 parts by weight of carbon black and 2 to 20 parts by weight of chitin(formula 1). The rubber composition may further comprise 2 to 10 parts by weight of an active zinc oxide, 1 to 5 parts by weight of stearic acid, 1 to 5 parts by weight of sulfur, 1 to 5 parts by weight of a sulfenamide-based vulcanization accelerator and 1 to 2 parts by weight of an anti-aging agent. |
