PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system capable of rationally displaying the image of the navigation related information including the position of own ship or other points. SOLUTION: When the image of a display screen 81 is moved and displayed, a display scale and one or a plurality of points at the prescribed positions P10-P12 of the display screen 81 are stored, and the memory is read to obtain the original display state by a single action. A mark is displayed on a prescribed point JP1 by a figure 64Y1 indicating a true position and a figure 64X generally surrounding the point. Display data are stored in an electrically writable and electrically storing storage portion, and the storage contents of an electrically writable and nonelectrically storing storage portion are unified. A large cursor CLX.CLY is displayed when a specified point CP is moved, and a small cursor CLZ is displayed at its stop. A ship track CR1 is displayed based on the received stored contents of the ship position 10a at the prescribed distance intervals when the ship speed is slow and at the prescribed time intervals when the ship speed is fast. |
