The present invention provides a security buckle for allowing a firm grip of a displaying device by a safety strap. The security buckle is anchored into a ventilation slit, thus preventing the strap from sliding. The security buckle comprises: an elongated member, a tooth protruding from one end of the elongated member and a stopping means for securing the strap onto the upper surface of the elongated member. Preferably the buckle is fabricated from a nonconductive plastic material.
