<p>PURPOSE:To inspect the rear, as well as the surface, of an object to be inspected by mounting one end of a robot arm having at least one articulation on one end of a telescopic boom and disposing a camera for monitoring the object and a reflector spaced oppositely apart the camera at the other end of the boom. CONSTITUTION:A monitoring camera 52 is fixed through a supporting board 54 to the bracket 44 of a robot arm. One end of a supporting arm 56 is secured to the supporting board 54 and a reflector 58 is fixed oppositely to the lens of the monitoring camera 52 at the other end of the supporting arm 56. The rear, as well as the front, of an object to be inspected located between the monitoring camera 52 and the reflector 58 can be inspected positively through the reflector 58 by regulating the orientation of the monitoring camera 58 or focusing the monitoring camera 52 to the reflector 58. Consequently, the rear as well as the front of the object can be inspected without turning the monitoring camera along the outer circumference of the object.</p> |
