When a mobile station moves out of range of a base transceiver station and a Base Station Controller (BSCs) needs to transfer the mobile to another Base Station Controller (BSCc), the handover request (HO REQ) is sent to the Mobile Switching Station (MSC) together with a set of operating parameters (INF) for the mobile. These are passed to the target BSCc for use when considering conditions for rejecting the handover. |
