PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction method of an environmental greening for controlling root zone which suppresses grass height in a green space such as a median strip or a river bed bank slope. SOLUTION: The construction method comprises laying a root-resistant but water/air-permeable separating layer with an optional thickness in soil so as to suppress grass height while covering the surface of the soil with plants.
