Locking device with assisted final closing

The closing device for the vehicle doors has an entrainment disc (14) interacting with a closing element (12) such as a catch (13) and an associated electrically operated pull-to aid (11) which moves the door over the last part into the closed position. This pull-to aid is designed as an accessory part which can be fitted to existing vehicles. The entrainment disc is formed as a spring-loaded cam plate (15) of variable diameter with two steps (17,18) which reduce in diameter to form end positions. The pull-to aid is released by a limit switch (19) in active connection with the circumferential area of the cam plate near the first step.
