<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a similar effect to the trans-aural reproduction at the time of listening through ear speakers (at binaural reproduction), by only performing simple conversion processing for sound signals generated for two speaker reproduction, i.e., trans-aural reproduction. <P>SOLUTION: This converter is provided with a trans-aural production signal converter which converts the sound signals from a plurality of speakers to signals for trans-aural reproduction from two speakers, and a trans-aural- binaural converter 3 which superimposes the trans-aural sound outputted from the trans-aural reproduction signal converter on signals which have elements of a transfer characteristic from two speakers to both ears of a listener and converts to binaural signals corresponding to the sound signals to reach both ears of the listener when reproducing by the trans-aural system. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
