<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust processing device suppressing the generation of white smoke, blue white smoke, and exhaust irritating odor at the time of cold starting, and protecting a battery by avoiding excessively energizing. <P>SOLUTION: This exhaust processing device comprises a branch portion 5 provided in a midpoint in an exhaust system 4, a plurality of branch pipes 6, 7 arranged in parallel downstream from the branch portion 5, and particulate filters F1, F2 or a catalyst interposed between the plural branch pipes 6, 7 as a plurality of exhaust processing devices. The particulate filters F1, F2 or the catalyst as the exhaust processing device are internally provided with electric heaters Fh1, Fh2 in an upstream side, and switching valves V1, V2 are interposed between the branch portions 5 of the plural branch pipes 6, 7.
