<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily, surely change the length of a connecting part of a contact, as required in a connector suitable for conducting active insertion/removing. SOLUTION: In this connector, a plurality of contacts 13 are inserted and held in a holding part 11a of a connector main body 11 made of an insulating materiel, and a connecting part 13b for detachably attaching a mating contact 19 of a meting connector 17 is formed in the tip of each contact 13 projecting from the holding part 11a. The contact 13 is held in the holding part 11a so as to be capable of being moved by a holding force larger than a holding force by which the contact 13 is not moved by the insertion/removing of the mating contact 19, and an extending part 13c which extends by move forward of the contact 13 is formed in the rear position than the holding part 11a of the contact 13.</p> |
