PURPOSE: To shorten the length of a sensor array and reduce the number-of-step of linear CCD and ring CCD in a distance measuring device for projecting a plurality of beams to photographed body to perform phase difference type triangular distance measurement. CONSTITUTION: Light receiving lenses 20, 21 are formed into compound-eye structure composed of three single-eye lenses so as to converge five reflected beans (C, R, L, RR, LL) from a distance measured object in the narrow range of sensor arrays 12, 13. Because of such layout that sampling CCD 25, 26 and sensor arrays 12, 13 are opposed to each other and that the sampling CCD 25, 26 and linear CCD 27, 28 are partially shifted, only signal electric charge of an optional area of the sensor arrays 12, 13 can be shifted to the linear CCD 27, 28 by transferring the sampling CCD 25, 26 only by desired number of steps. Distance can be therefore the measured in a compact size and a short time. |
