PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make such an editing as making a time when raw material are made to flow, longer than a time when all of raw materials being within a specified range are reproduced and such an editing as reproducing raw materials which are recorded with the intention of being reproduced without an effect processing by performing the effect processing to be performed without trying the recording work of original raw materials again in a nonlinear edit system. SOLUTION: This device 1 is constituted so as to have nonlinearly accessible recording media 16, 17 and, in this case, it is provided with a specifying means 18 for specifying the range of data which are to be made to be recorded on the recording media 16, 17 among data recorded on an external device 41 and a control means 13b which makes data of an range in which an excess range is added to the range specified by the specifying means 18 to be reproduced from the device 41 and which makes the reproduced data to be recorded on the recording media 16, 17.
