PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indwelling needle assembly wherein a medical treatment applying person can easily house an internal needle in a needle guard by one hand even when a long indwelling needle is used, or a medical treatment applying person with small hands uses the indwelling needle assembly. SOLUTION: This indwelling needle assembly 1 is equipped with an external needle hub 3, an internal needle hub 5, and the needle guard 6. In this case, to the distal end of the external needle hub 3, an external needle 2 is fixed. To the distal end of the internal needle hub 5, the internal needle 4 is fixed. The needle guard 6 can house the internal needle 4 and the internal needle hub 5. The needle guard 6 has a double structure comprising an internal cylinder 61 and an external cylinder 62, and a connecting body 8 which connects the internal needle hub 5 and the internal cylinder 61 through the base end side of the needle guard 6. The needle guard 6 can be extended by sliding the external cylinder 62 to the base end side of the internal cylinder 61. When the needle guard 6 is extended, the internal needle hub 5-slides in the needle guard 6 to the base end side of the needle guard 6 by the connecting body 8 for the indwelling needle assembly 1. |
