METHOD FOR DETECTING WIRELESS COMMUNICATION, IN RELATION TO METHOD FOR DETECTING RECEIVED CODED SYMBOLS REDUCING AVAILABLE SYMBOL COMBINATIONS WITHOUT CONSIDERING EACH COMBINATION

PURPOSE: A method for detecting wireless communication, in relation to a method for detecting received coded symbols reducing available symbol combinations without considering each combination is provided to easily and effectively process complex transmission by promptly reducing the number of candidate combinations to be processed. CONSTITUTION: A preliminary calculator(100) uses signals and pilot signals transmitted from antennas. A channel processing module decides a channel matrix H and an upper triangular matrix U. A preliminary calculating module decides values of Tinner and symbol error values. Output of the preliminary calculator(100) is transmitted to a stack search unit(102). A candidate search module(110) recursively cumulatively applies a cost function to available symbols. A stack memory(114) temporarily stores identifier information with the cost function values. The stack search unit(102) generates a set of valid candidates to be transmitted to a valid candidate queue. Available combinations are related to each other on a layer including all available combinations to abandon all symbols to be combined with the first available symbol as soon as the first available symbol is abandoned when the first available symbol is judged as a non-valid part of the combination.
