A repeater, a signal processing method thereof and a frequency converting method are provided to minimize the frequency error between repeater transmitting signals by self-offsetting the frequency error of a local oscillator. A frequency generator(230) generates a frequency for an intermediate frequency conversion and a frequency for frequency up-conversion. A down-converter(240) converts the first wireless frequency of a received signal into the first intermediate frequency. A digital signal processor(250) produces an intermediate offset frequency for offsetting a local oscillating frequency error from the frequency offset of the received signal. An up-converter(260) converts the second intermediate frequency into the second wireless frequency.
