PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure capable of preventing degradation of workability in a work executed by inserting a tool to a through hole formed on a rotation-side flange of a hub, even when components are shared among rolling bearing units for supporting wheels, different in specifications.SOLUTION: Recessed portions 21 recessed radially inward in a state of being opened to an axial outer end face of an outer ring 2a, are respectively formed on parts where a circumferential phase is agreed with a through hole 31 formed on a stationary-side flange 6, on an outer peripheral face of an axial outer end portion of the outer ring 2a. A depth of the recessed portion 21 is gradually decreased toward the axial inner part. A diameter of an inscribed circle of a radial inner end portion of the through hole 13a is smaller than an outer diameter of the axial outer end face of the outer ring 2a, and larger than a diameter of an inscribed circle at an axial outer end edge of a bottom surface of the recessed portion 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
