PURPOSE:To improve the adhesivity of fiber and a chlorosulfonated polyethylene rubber and the tensile strength of the bonded product, remarkably, by treating the fiber with a liquid mixture of a resorcin-formalin precondensate and a rubber latex. CONSTITUTION:A fiber is treated with a mixture composed of (A) 100pts.wt. of an acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer rubber latex or a carboxyl-modified acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer rubber latex and (B) 30-70pts. of a resorcin- formalin precondensate wherein the charged molar ratio of resorcin to formalin is 1.0:(0.5-1.0). The fiber is e.g. nylon 6, nylon 66, etc. |
