PURPOSE: A waterproof mortar for exterior insulation and finish system(EIFS) is provided to have waterproof film, adhesion property and strength. CONSTITUTION: The preparation method of waterproof mortar comprises the steps of: mixing 18.43wt.% of water, 0.14wt.% silicon-based antifoaming agent and 0.16wt.% of antiseptics; stirring and then adding 0.37wt.% of plasticizer; neutralizing to pH7 with 0.15wt.% of glacial acetic acid; spreading after adding 0.43wt.% of thickener, then 20.06wt.% of stylene acrylic copolymer emulsion resin; mixing with 60wt% of mortar silica sand and stirring for 15min.
