<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink for ink jet printing of a charge control system having improved dispersion stability of the ink such as pigment flocculation and sedimentation and improved thickening property using a resin not degrading pigment dispersion property even though salts or conductivity imparting agents are added in the ink in which the pigment is dispersed in a hydrophilic solvent. <P>SOLUTION: In the ink for the ink jet printing including the resin, the hydrophilic solvent, the conductivity imparting agent, and the pigment, the resin is a copolymer including a (meth)acrylic ester including a carboxyl group shown by image (1) such as 2-methacryloyloxyethylphthalate or 2-methacryloyloxyethylhexahydrophthalate as a monomer unit in molecules. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
