<p>An assay method for the diagnosis of cancer in an individual is provided in which human sera samples are contacted with assay compositions, each comprising a single mutant p53 protein or a plurality of different mutant p53 proteins. An immune reaction, which then develops in the sera with the mutant protein, is assayed which provides a basis for diagnosing whether the tested individual has cancer.</p> |
