FIELD: head protective device. SUBSTANCE: helmet has casing, inner fittings and attachment members including pockets made in casing and inserts connected with inner fittings and provided with slots. Insert part positioned above slot defines arm with depression. Arm has pivot joints made in the form of narrowed portions and positioned in curved parts. Inserts placed in pockets are movable under the action of impact. Upper parts of pocket sides are provided with notches. Such construction allows protective characteristics of helmet to be increased or shock-absorbing requirements for supporting ribbons to be reduced in case of predetermined absorption of shock.
