PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoplastic synthetic resin film wherein injury by abrasion of films is hardly formed, and excellent in transparency, anti-blocking, processability upon molding and practical handling such as easy opening when it is used as a bag. SOLUTION: The thermoplastic synthetic resin film is produced by molding into a film a composition comprising (A) a thermoplastic synthetic resin and (B) hydrophobic silica spherical particulates having an average primary particle size of 0.01-20μm, which is obtained by a treatment for giving hydrophobic property, including a process of introducing an R<SP>1</SP><SB>3</SB>SiO<SB>1/2</SB>unit (wherein R<SP>1</SP>is the same or different and a substituted or non-substituted 1-6C monovalent hydrocarbon group) into the surface of hydrophilic silica particulates consisting substantially of SiO<SB>2</SB>units, followed by curing the film composition.
