<p>Continuous molding of objects, such as fasteners with filament-like portions (24), using a rotatable molding wheel with peripheral orifices. Plastic is extruded through a manifold (36) upon the periphery of the wheel (40), and a knife assembly (42) in eliptical contact with the wheel is used to skive film from the molded objects.
