Burner pipe

A ceramic burner pipe (1) contains, as retaining element for an insert, such as a star disc (11) or perforated disc (12), which virtually corresponds to the inside diameter (D1) of the burner pipe (1), webs (3, 4, 5) which are distributed on a circular line at the inner circumference of the pipe wall (2) and have slots (6, 7, 8). The webs (6, 7, 8) are indentations running in a longitudinal direction of the burner pipe (1) and their slots (6, 7, 8) run transversely in the circumferential direction in such a way that the insert (11) or (12) can be introduced into the burner pipe (1) in the oblique position up to the height of the slots (6, 7, 8), then set vertically and pushed into the slots (6, 7, 8) by turning about the longitudinal axis of the burner pipe (1), and to be precise the star disc (11) by the end portions of its arms (13 to 18) and the perforated disc (12) by its outer edge portions, which lie between edge recesses (19) corresponding to the webs (3, 4, 5) of the burner pipe (1). In the retention position, the insert (11) or (12) is secured against independent rotation. <IMAGE>
