Fastening arrangement for an apparatus 30, such as a portable telephone or camera, for reliably securing this to a holder 10. The holder comprises a plate-like support 12, a front plate 14 at least partly covering the support, and a gap 20 formed in the front plate, and also a locking piece 28 which is secured on the support and by means of which the apparatus is fastened to the holder. An annular piece 36 projecting axially from the apparatus has been secured by means of a pin 34 in the apparatus. In the wall 38 thereof, there is a cutting or opening 40 for the locking piece 28, which opening allows the locking piece to penetrate radially into the annular piece and out of it. The inner diameter d of the annular piece is sufficiently great to allow the locking piece to turn axially therein. By contrast, the outer diameter D is greater than the width a of the gap 20, so as to hold the annular piece 36 securely between the support 12 and the front plate 14 at the gap 20. <IMAGE>
