<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To positively eliminate a deposit in a coolant evacuation passage without causing whole enlargement. <P>SOLUTION: A spindle 6 has a tool holder mounting hole 6a for mounting a tool holder, and a coolant supply opening part 15a positioned facing a space part 6c above the tool holder mounting hole 6a. The coolant supply opening part 15a is connected to a tool side coolant passage provided in the tool holder, when using a tool. The spindle 6 is formed with the coolant evacuation passage 16. A passage changeover member 18 is mounted in the tool holder mounting hole 6a, and when cleaning the coolant evacuation passage 16, the coolant supply opening part 15a is put in communication with a one-end opening 16a of the coolant evacuation passage 16 by the passage changeover member 18. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
