PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and simply measure the dose distribution of radiation in a water phantom type dosimeter for measuring the does distribution of radiation. SOLUTION: A scintillator 2 which has a plane (xy plane) vertical to the direction of radiation travels in a water tank 4 housing water 3 for simulating the absorption of does by a human tissue while emitting light according to the does of radiation sobsorbed and a CCD camera 5 for obtaining an emission profile image of the scintillator 2 and the plane of the scintillator is driven in the direction (direction z) of the radiation travels using a driver 6 and an arm 7 to position thereby measuring the does distribution of the radiation.
