摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic transmission power control system that executes proper power control corresponding to various attenuations, such as steep level changes. SOLUTION: The automatic transmission power control system is provided with a reception signal level detection circuit 100 and an automatic transmission power control circuit 110, that conduct transmission power control in response to its detection level. The automatic transmission power control circuit 110 decides the thresholds of a plurality of kinds to discriminate a degree of an attenuation of a received signal, awaits regulation of transmission power corresponding to each threshold, sets a monitor control time and a sampling interval, measures the value of a received signal level at a sampling interval, corresponding to a minimum threshold for a monitor control time corresponding to the minimum threshold denoting a value larger than the received signal level; and if the received signal level is lower than the maximum value of each threshold value and a new received signal level is lower than any of the threshold, to detect the minimum value, and obtains the level number at which the minimum value of the detected received signal level is lower than the maximum value of the threshold, after the end of the monitor control time and conducts power control to increase the transmission power of its own station by the level number.
