PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection device of a can lid joint (seaming part), having superior detection accuracy, capable of detecting whatever joint defect accurately and surely. SOLUTION: This device is constituted of a ring illumination lamp 1 for irradiating the seaming part of the can lid from the oblique upside, a CCD camera for photographing the seaming part of the can lid from the oblique downside, a binarization processing part 31 for converting the photographed image into a binary image, an acceptance determination area setting part 32 for setting acceptance determination area, having a prescribed size on a prescribed position in the binary image, a pixel counting part 33 for counting pixels for showing a joint defect spot existing in the acceptance determination area set by the quality determination area setting part, and a quality determination part 34 for comparing the number of the counted pixels with a threshold set beforehand, and determining as a joint defect, when the number of the counted pixels exceeds the threshold. |
