<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily hit a ball at the center of a ball hitting surface and also to permit the head not to be easily swung at the time of hitting with respect to a putter head. SOLUTION: A front projecting part 5 where a front end surface is adopted as the ball hitting surface 4 is formed in the horizontal width direction intermediate part of a head front surface 3. When the diameter of a golf ball 20 is adopted as B and the ball hitting surface width of the front projecting part 5 is made to be F, ball hitting surface width F is set to be 0.8<=B/F<=1.5. When whole head width is made to be H, ball hitting surface width F and whole head width H are set to be 0.3<=F/H<=0.6. The projecting dimension P of the front projecting part 5 is set to be 3-15 mm.</p> |
