PURPOSE: A vocabulary learning auxiliary device is provided to improve learning efficiency by differentially storing words according to hardness and easiness of a user. CONSTITUTION: The device comprises a storage storing learned words according to hardness and easiness; a display displaying the learned words in a learning mode and displaying a character of which a size and an image are varied according to learning frequency and record in a normal mode; a user input unit inputting whether words displayed in the display are memorized; and a controller temporarily erasing previously memorized words from the storage and displaying meaning of words which are not memorized yet and restoring the words therein.
