A titanium plate containing Fe and O, and including an α-phase crystal grain structure that is an HCP structure, wherein when: the crystal orientations of the α-phase crystal grains are represented by a crystal orientation distribution function; ϕ1=0°, Φ=35°, and ϕ2=0° represent orientation 1; ϕ1=0°, Φ=35°, and ϕ2=30° represent orientation 2; ϕ1=90°, Φ=50°, and ϕ2=0° represent orientation 3; ϕ1=90°, Φ=50°, and ϕ2=30° represent orientation 4; ϕ1=50°, Φ=90°, and ϕ2=0° represent orientation 5; and the area ratio of crystal grains having orientations within 15° centered on these orientations with respect to the total area of all of the α-phase crystal grains are denoted respectively as X1, X2, X3, X4, and X5, then 0.05 ≤ (X3 + X4 + X5)/(X1 + X2) ≤ 3.0, the average value of the equivalent circular diameter of the α-phase crystal grains being 3-25 μm, and the maximum value being 140 μm or less.
