PURPOSE:To facilitate superimposed display by eliminating the need of copying an original on a transparent film. CONSTITUTION:The image of the original 1 is picked up by an image pickup element 5, converted into an image signal, and converted into a liquid crystal driving signal by a driving part 6. A dichroic mirror 9 reflects blue light out of the light from a lamp 7 and transmits the light other than the blue light. The blue light is made incident on a film 16 inserted in the position of an area 31 and the light other than the blue light is made incident on a liquid crystal panel 10. A dichroic mirror 13 synthesizes the transmitted light through the panel 10 and the transmitted light through the film 16, and a projection lens 15 projects the synthesized light to a screen 40. Thus, patterns written on the original 1 and the film 16 are superimposed and projected. |
