<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately control an electronic ballast even if load conditions are varied by the variation of input voltage or the variation of the number of lamps. SOLUTION: Signals for feedback are generated from current flowing in a ballast 1 and DC link voltage E. A lamp sensing function is given to a soft start controller 4 and a reference voltage generating part 6, and the control frequency of driving signals of the ballast 1 is determined with a control block 3 from the operation results of signals from the soft start controller 4 and the reference voltage generating part 6 and signals for feedback.</p> |
