PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sun visor for a vehicle capable of preventing dazzlement due to sunlight when elevated work is done through a skylight to realize safe work without obstructing ordinary work. SOLUTION: This sun visor for the vehicle includes a frame 11 whose both end parts are pivotally supported and which has a predetermined width and is formed by bending in a U shape and a dazzlement prevention plate 13 attached by turning a terminal freely and energizing a braking force in a horizontal shaft part 11b extending to the right and left of the frame 11 above a front window in a driver's cab having the skylight to move to a position where incident light from the skylight is blocked due to the turn of the glare- proof plate 13 and the turn of the frame 11 supporting it.
