Gear fluid is provided to properly protect a transmission and gear driving parts by using an additive composition containing base oil with good solubility of a friction modifier. A gear additive composition consists of base oil ingredients of 50~70wt.%, a friction modifier mixture, monoester and diester of phosphonic acid of 1~10wt.%, amine salt of phosphoric acid of 10~30wt.%, an antioxidant, an anti-wear agent, an antifoaming agent, and a viscosity index improver. The base oil ingredient contains alkylated naphthalene mixed material and monoalkylated naphthalene. The amine salt is derived from 2-ethylhexyl phosphate or oleylamine. Gear fluid contains the gear additive of 3~6wt.%. The gear additive is applied on an anti-slip axle having an LSD(Limited Slip Differential) as surface treating fluid.
