A switching converter comprises a primary inductance L1 electrically coupled to a first input voltage Vin and a switching element Q. The switching converter further comprises a snubber circuit having a first snubber circuit part 21 and a second snubber circuit part 22, where the first and second snubber circuit parts are arranged symmetrically in the switching converter. The first and second snubber circuit parts may comprise identical components and may both have an input 23 connected to a second node of the primary inductance. A transfer capacitance CS1 may be connected to the outputs 24 of both the first and second snubber circuits.
